BuySideReview is a personal project run by an individual based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We've tried to write it in plain English.

What data do we collect?
We collect data in two ways:
When you submit a review — we collect your email address, your job role (buyer type), the scores and written review you submit, and the platform you're reviewing. Your email address is never published on the site and is only used to verify that reviews are genuine and to contact you if we have a question about your submission.
When you get in touch — we collect your name, email address, and the message you send. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Where is your data stored?
Submissions are collected via Tally (tally.so) and stored in Airtable. Both are reputable third-party services with their own privacy policies and GDPR compliance. We do not store any personal data on our own servers.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep review submissions for as long as the site is active. Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing james@buysidereview.com.
Do we use cookies or tracking?
No. BuySideReview does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels, or any other tracking technology. We have no way of identifying individual visitors to the site.
Do we share your data with anyone?
No. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties, other than the storage services mentioned above (Tally and Airtable) which are necessary to operate the site.
What are your rights?
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email james@buysidereview.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

If we make significant changes to this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. We recommend checking back occasionally.
